FAQs
General Questions About Working with Naz
- What kind of coach are you?
I’m a Life & Business Master Coach and NLP Master Practitioner. I work at the intersection of personal transformation and practical business growth, helping you change how you think, feel, and act in both life and work. - Who do you mainly work with?
I mostly work with adults who are capable and self-aware, but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or out of alignment in their life, business, or both. Many are coaches, service-based professionals, small business owners, or people in demanding careers. - Do you offer in-person sessions?
No. All my 1:1 coaching is online only, usually via video call. This allows me to work with clients from different locations while keeping your experience consistent and focused. - Where are you based, and do time zones matter?
I’m based in the UK and work primarily in UK/Europe-friendly time zones, but I do work with international clients. We simply agree session times that work for both of us. - What kinds of issues do you help with?
On the life side: confidence, anxiety, emotional regulation, stress, boundaries, relationships, habits, time, and direction. On the business side: clarity of offers, pricing, systems, mindset, money, and sustainable growth. Often, we work on both together. - Is coaching right for me, or do I need therapy?
Coaching is for when you want to move forward, make changes, and work on patterns, decisions, and behaviour. Therapy is more appropriate for diagnosed mental health conditions, severe distress, or unresolved trauma that needs clinical support. If I feel you’d benefit from therapy, I’ll always say so. - How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy often focuses on healing, clinical issues, and your past in depth. Coaching is future-focused and practical: we look at where you are, where you want to go, and what needs to change in your thinking, behaviour, and environment to get there. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy. - How is coaching different from consulting or training?
Consultants tell you what to do and often create solutions for you. Trainers deliver content and skills. As a coach, I help you think clearly, see patterns, make decisions, and take action, using structured tools. I may share ideas and frameworks, but I won’t run your life or business for you. - Do you work with both men and women?
Yes. I work with adults of any gender who are willing to be honest, take responsibility, and engage in the coaching process. - Do you work with teenagers or children?
No. My work is focused on adults. If you’re looking for support for a teenager or child, I recommend working with a specialist youth coach or qualified therapist.
Life Coaching FAQs
- What is Life Coaching with you like?
Life Coaching with me is a calm, structured space to explore what’s really happening in your inner world and everyday life. We talk honestly, use simple tools, and focus on clear next steps that make your life feel more aligned and manageable. - What topics can we cover in Life Coaching?
We can cover confidence, anxiety, mood, habits, time, stress, relationships, boundaries, purpose, decision-making, and lifestyle changes. We work with whatever is genuinely affecting your life the most. - Can Life Coaching help with anxiety or depression?
Coaching can help you with mindset, behaviour, routines, and emotional skills around anxiety or low mood. However, it does not replace medical or therapeutic treatment. If your anxiety or depression is severe, we may work alongside a therapist or doctor, or I may suggest you seek clinical support first. - How do you handle trauma-related issues?
I offer trauma-informed coaching, which means I aim to work gently and safely, and I respect your nervous system and limits. However, I am not a trauma therapist. For deep trauma processing, I will always recommend working with a specialist therapist, and we can focus on current coping, boundaries, and self-leadership in coaching. - How quickly will I feel a difference in my life?
Some clients feel a shift in perspective after the first few sessions, especially in the 6-week intensive. Deeper, more stable change usually happens over 12 weeks or more, as you practice new ways of thinking and behaving. - Do you give homework or exercises between sessions?
Yes. I’ll often give you small, realistic actions or reflections to work on between sessions. This might be a conversation to have, a new habit to test, a journal prompt, or a simple practice for emotions or thoughts. - Can my partner or family join Life Coaching sessions?
Generally, my 1:1 work is just you and me, because it gives you the freedom to speak honestly. In some cases, we might agree to include a partner or family member for a specific session, but the main focus is your personal journey. - Can I switch from Life Coaching to Business Coaching later?
Yes. Many clients start with Life Coaching and later move into Business Coaching, or vice versa. We can adjust the focus of your sessions as your needs and priorities change. - Do you use specific techniques like NLP, CBT, or mindfulness in Life Coaching?
Yes. I blend NLP, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC), mindfulness-based tools, and positive psychology. I don’t overload you with theory—I simply choose the right tool for what you’re facing and explain it in clear language. - Is Life Coaching suitable if I already have a therapist?
Yes, if your therapist agrees and you feel stable enough. Coaching can complement therapy by focusing on practical change, habits, and forward movement, while therapy focuses more deeply on emotional healing and history.
Business Coaching FAQs
- What kind of business owners do you work with?
I mainly work with service-based professionals: coaches, consultants, therapists, creatives, freelancers, and small business owners. I also work with professionals in roles where performance, leadership, and decision-making really matter. - Can you help me if I’m just starting a business?
Yes, as long as you’re willing to do the work. We can clarify your niche, offers, pricing, and basic structure, and help you build your business in a way that fits your life and energy from the beginning. - Do you work with people who are employed, not self-employed?
Yes. Business Coaching can support you with career decisions, leadership, performance, communication, and managing your role like a business—even if you don’t own the company. - Do you help with marketing and sales?
Yes, but not in a “cookie-cutter tactics” way. We’ll look at how you talk about your work, how you sell in a way that feels honest, and how you attract clients in ways that match your strengths. I’m not an ads agency, but I can help you think clearly about strategy. - Will you tell me exactly what to do in my business?
I won’t run your business for you or make decisions instead of you. I will help you see options, weigh trade-offs, and choose aligned strategies, and then support you in following through. - Can Business Coaching replace a business consultant?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Coaching is best for clarity, decisions, mindset, and strategy. If you need highly technical advice (tax, legal, detailed marketing implementation), you may also need a consultant or specialist. - How “strategic” vs “mindset-focused” are your business sessions?
Usually, sessions include both. We might work on your offers or pricing and also on the fears, beliefs, or patterns that stop you implementing. We keep strategy grounded in your real capacity and psychology. - Can we talk about money, pricing, and income?
Absolutely. Money is a central part of business coaching. We’ll talk openly about pricing, income, money beliefs, and the practical side of making your business sustainable. - Do you work with teams or just individuals?
My main work through NazKing.com is 1:1 coaching. If you want support for a team, we’d discuss your needs first and see if it’s a fit or whether I should refer you on. - Can we combine Life and Business Coaching in one program?
Yes. Many clients benefit most from integrated Life & Business Coaching, because business decisions affect your life, and your personal patterns affect your business. We can design your program around both.
Programs, Process & Practical Details
- How do I know whether to choose 6-week, 12-week, or 12-month support?
Think of it like this: 6 weeks = focused reset on one issue, 12 weeks = structured transformation across several areas, 12 months = long-term mentoring while you move through big changes. We’ll discuss what fits best on your initial call. - Can I start with 6 weeks and then extend?
Yes. Many clients begin with the 6-Week Intensive and then extend into a 12-week or 12-month container if we’re a good fit and you want deeper support. - How long are the sessions?
Most sessions are 60–75 minutes, depending on the program and what we’re working on. We’ll agree the exact length when we set up your coaching. - How often do we meet?
For the 6-week and 12-week programs, we typically meet once per week. For 12-month mentoring, we meet twice per month. In exceptional cases, we may adjust the rhythm slightly. - What platform do you use for online sessions?
I usually use a secure video platform (such as Zoom) for sessions. You’ll receive a link in advance, and you can join from anywhere with a stable internet connection. - Do you record sessions?
Generally no, to protect your privacy and encourage open conversation. If we ever agree to record a session (for your personal use), it will only happen with your explicit consent. - What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
I ask for a minimum of 24–48 hours’ notice (you can set the exact window) to reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows are usually charged as a session, except in genuine emergencies. - How do payments work?
Payment is normally made in advance of the program, either in full or via an agreed payment plan. Details will be clearly outlined before we begin so there are no surprises. - Do you offer refunds?
Because coaching is a time-based, personalised service, refunds are not usually offered once we have started working together. I’ll always be transparent about this before you sign up. - What happens if I miss a session?
If you miss a session without sufficient notice, it may be counted as used. If something serious or unexpected happens, we’ll talk about it and decide the fairest way forward.
Ethics, Scope, For Coaches & Other Questions
- Do you guarantee results?
No coach can ethically guarantee results. What I can promise is my full presence, honest feedback, structured tools, and a clear process. Your results depend on your engagement, actions, and circumstances. - What do you expect from me as a client?
I expect you to show up on time, honest, willing to reflect, and ready to take small, consistent actions. You don’t need to be perfect—just open to doing the work. - What can I expect from you as a coach?
You can expect me to be prepared, honest, non-judgmental, and structured. I’ll listen carefully, ask direct questions, share relevant tools, and respect your boundaries and pace. - Is everything we discuss confidential?
Yes. I treat our conversations as confidential, within normal legal and ethical limits (for example, if there is serious risk of harm to you or others). I do not share your details or story without your consent. - Do you work with clients internationally?
Yes. Because all sessions are online, I can work with clients in different countries and time zones, as long as we find times that work and there are no legal restrictions. - I’m a coach. Should I work with you here or go to Nkademy?
If you want personal coaching for your own life or business, NazKing.com is the place.
If you want training, tools, or courses to use with your clients, you’ll find those at Nkademy.com. - Can coaching with you help me as a coach with my own clients?
Yes. Working on your mindset, business, and personal patterns often makes you stronger as a coach. Many coach-clients also find they naturally integrate some of the tools they experience with me into their own style (within their competence and scope). - How do I get started?
Your first step is to book an initial call or apply for coaching through the site. We’ll talk about what you’re dealing with, what you want to change, and whether we’re a good fit to work together. - What happens after we finish a program?
At the end of your program, we review your progress and discuss next steps. You might feel complete, choose to pause, or decide to continue with a different level of support (for example, moving from 12 weeks into longer mentoring). - What if I’m nervous and not sure I’m ready?
That’s completely normal. You don’t have to be “ready” in a perfect sense—just willing to start an honest conversation. The initial call is there to help you explore, not to pressure you. We’ll decide together whether coaching is the right step for you right now.
